Dusk.  At the shore of the endless sea, winds laden with brine whispered through grass growing untamed on crumbling cliffs.  Like a heartbeat, the tide rushed the sands below again, again, again.  On that salt-scented night, on the edge of the sea, a thunder sounded on the horizon, though no clouds darkened the sky.  A rumbling with a beat, a gait, the rolling rumble of a drum.  A yellow-orange glow seeped into the blue tint of the near-night, and all at once a mare crashed through the quiet, and she was beautiful and terrible - a creature with hellfire beneath her skin and an entourage of sparks drifting in her wake.  Those who saw her murmured to each other, awe and warning.  "Hela... Hela!  Queen of Hellfire!"
