Ruby Hellspawn

July's birthstones are ruby and carnelian, and with two lovely, fiery stones, how could I not create a demon horse? xD

I didn't realize exactly how dark rubies can get until I started doing some research, and now I think I need a black star ruby in my life.  (y'know, one day... when I'm mega rich.)

Fun facts: when I was but a tiny silphling,  I absolutely adored rubies.  Not sure why I latched onto them specifically, but my guess is that it probably had something to do with the gem in Sailor Moon's tiara.

This is the first thing I've created on my brand new set up and I'm still getting used to everything.  I started writing a bit about the experience but realized I was rambling, so the short version is this: It's awesome and I love it, but if my colours seem at all off, it's because MSI and Huion disagree on exactly how vibrant my art should be.  Based on how this looks on my phone, I'm pretty sure accurate monitors will be showing the correct version?  But who knows.  Bear with me.
