Featuring Khairo, and Celadil and Blue the cat
Previous: A Whisper of a Threat

Victory! Khairo seems to have broken through the mules' suspicion! He still has many, many questions about who this Order is and what kind of treasures they're seeking on the coast, but that can wait until the mules are settled in the forest.

If you see errors in this, no you don't. Not only is my laptop's keyboard being weird lately, but I was an idiot who stayed up way, way too late last night and now I can barely keep my eyes open. It's bedtime now, thank you. =P

With a paradise seemingly found the herd begins to disperse, exploring the immediate area and trying out the grass. A few foals even take to frolicing and squeal with joy as they are finally able to play. The herd leader comes to find you with a bright smile on his face and appreciation in his eyes. ‘You’ve given me hope for a future friend. Thank you.’ He hums. ‘And please…heed my words. The west is not safe. Be it from monsters or those villains…no treasure is worth your life.’ And with that he returns to his own family and leaves you with his warning.
