Shaiera actually uses her magic for once and shifts the barometric pressure to make the bees think it's about to rain! My initial thought was to make it actually get cloudy, because bees will immediately drop to the ground to protect themselves if it gets dark suddenly, but I wasn't sure the extent to which warlocks could actually affect barometric pressure, so I played it safe.
Onwards, to adventure!

It was a daring move but one that seems to have worked! The bees still offer angry little buzzes in your direction as you near their nest but the change in weather seems to keep them at bay. As storm rolls by overhead you and your herd near the portal!
With a deep breath you step forward and through the swirling colors. It’s strange at first, like passing through a waterfall only the water is thicker. Then, all at once, it feels like the ground falls out from under you! Your breath catches in your throat as you drop through the air and flail your legs to try and control the descent.
All at once your body thumps to the ground. Through some sort of strange magic the landing isn’t too hard. You land in an explosion of flower petals which gently float back down around you, blanketing you in a sea of pink. As you begin to regain your senses you shake off the petals and look around as your vision begins to sharpen.
The world around you isn’t anything like the one you left behind. The heat of the Flame Expanse is long gone and replaced by a playful coolness. The hills around you aren’t golden but lush and colorful?! You’d have thought you were in the Bloom in the dead of spring judging by this scenery. The trees are plentiful and weighed down by flowers which make the air smell rich and sweet. Where did this portal take you!?
