EC - Nimrime's Wish

Spring, 333 of the Third Age
Featuring  Khairo, Nimrime, A189 Melody
Previous: A Dream of What Was, A Wish for What Could Be

Before Khairo could make a move, Nimrime ripped herself away from him and bolted headlong towards her mother.  With an unreadable expression, Melody watched as her daughter began to beg, sparing only a glance for her one-time lover.  Khairo’s heart stood still as pale eyes locked with red, and time moved like tree sap in the snow.  A third meeting, a third chance.  Third time lucky?  Or would Melody’s heart remain stony?
