Spring 326, Festival of the Petal

While his father did his level best to woo a pretty mare with a green mane, Chase made up for lost playtime.  Soon enough, he focused his attentions on a colt much younger than himself, who strayed to the edges of the group and seemed so very shy.  This, Chase thought, was a glorious opportunity.  Fun as it was to romp and run, the other foals were used to playmates and played by rules completely alien to the little chestnut.  The pale colt, by comparison, was gentle and had become as othered as Chase himself.  Though he couldn't speak well, it was easy enough to coax him into a gentle game of running and splashing, and the pair became fast friends.  The first friend for either of them, though they had no way to share it, just yet.


A second rare beauty bid, because I couldn't help myself.  Chase needs a little brother.  Fingers crossed! <3

It appears that all your splashing seems to attracted extra attention. A shy little filly approaches with a grin and flicks her ears back. "Um...think I could uh...play too?" She asks carefully. She's a little on the small side and a touch thin which probably explains her hesitation to approach you.
