EC - An Invitation

Spring, 333 of the Third Age
Featuring  Falstaff and two unknown stallions

Falstaff approaches the two stallions with a smile and a warm greeting.  While they’re both friendly, it is the Silver Buttercup Roan who seems most receptive to conversation.  After spending some time chatting, the other stallion drifts away, leaving Falstaff and the roan alone.  His loss.  Falstaff invites his new friend to travel with him and, after the Eclipse, return to Khairo’s herd with him.

“Mine lord is a welcoming sort,” he says.  “If thou art amenable?  ‘Tis most comforting, to have a home of one’s own, and the lowlanders most delightful.”
