I voted yes, but I'm with anyone who says "depends". You can't shut me up about King Diamond, Megami Tensei, Castlevania, horror movies or Batman that's for sure, but my fat fetish I usually only share with internet friends. It's not that I'm ashamed of it, I just really don't want to get into a debate over how "wrong" it is to like someone for being fat.
It depends on a lot of different things. There are some things I wouldn't mind sharing with anybody (my music tastes) and some things I would only share with close friends. Then there are things I don't tell anybody, ever.
It can really depend on what it is that you find. For example, if you find a band, of course you share it with all your friends because you want them to be interested in it. But let's say it's a (fetish) like this, or something else looked down upon by society. That'd be hard to tell, you wouldn't just go up to your friends and say,"Hey guys I love to see/draw fat girls/guys!" because they'd be confused and would probably think different of you.
In my case, I would keep that a secret, only to really tell to my closest friend. Nobody else really knows, but if it's a game or band or movie, then yeah, go crazy!
Just my personal insight sorry if it bothers anybody;;
I usually only share things with people I know will like them, and only if they're close. Otherwise I share things in general that I think most people I know will like. But if it's something I personally like, I don't share them at all.
I shared Amazing World of Gumball with my friends, and that went well. As for your work, I shared it with two other people because it's harmless on the surface. Am I going to use my potential commission from you as an internet profile picture?
