I can't believe I deleted the entire back catalog of my art for nothing ...is what I would say if I actually did delete it. But I didn't. In fact, all I did was put it in storage (an easily reversible action) to wait out this situation and see what dA would do. They've since gone into full damage control mode and gave people the option to flag their galleries with a tag that says they don't want their art used in ai stuff https://twitter.com/DeviantArt/status/1591239714098806785 In light of all this information I'm sure what you all are wondering is what I'm going to do with all the art now. Well I flagged my gallery with the noai tag, so I'll probably pull it all back out of storage. I'm still wary of what dA might do once everything quiets down, but at least there's some small comfort. Funny thing is that I was actually thinking about coming back to post stuff here at some point but I think this might've been the final nail in that coffin.
