I'm not going to harp on the realism angle because I don't think it's the most important thing in SF weaponry. Prop weapons only need to look real enough for the audience to suspend disbelief - the ZF-1, Robocop's infinite ammo pistol, and all sorts of ray-guns and blasters still look menacing even if they're not really possible - and I think you've done that here. My concern with this gun and some others in your gallery here is that I don't know how well you've considered user features. Both the Box-er and the Box-set guns have scopes set very low on the respective weapons; if you've ever tried to fire anything like a Calico M100, another rifle with straight-line layout and low sights this problem will become apparent very quickly. The solution would be pretty simple, place the scope on a raised rail or carry handle, possibly even a pop-up apparatus.

The other point I wanted to raise was the use of rails and another slotted feature on this piece. While quite a few manufacturers and shooters have fallen in love with rails they need to be justified in some way or it breaks the spell. Rails exist to mount accessories and there really shouldn't be anything mounted to a scope, the mass could destabilize it during firing and throw off the point of aim. It also doesn't make sense to place a rail or other feature with parallel slots at or near the cheek rest. That's going to be a cheese grater on the face when shouldering, aiming, and firing the weapon.

That's all I really wanted to touch on with this piece because it really is well crafted and detailed. Just keep ergonomics in mind on future works, the rule of cool can suspend so much disbelief. Keep up the good work.
Box-set

I saw the first in a theater. It was okay, but nothing special.

I saw the second on Netflix. It was terrible.

I did not see the third one. I am not willing to pay for any more Disney SW. I'm not a bitter edgelord incel, I'm just tired of the dreck. It didn't ruin my childhood. The old films, comics, books, and games will still be there on my shelf when I want to enjoy them, but I'm not paying for more disappointments.

Just put a band-aid on it. I'm sure it'll be fine. They'll probably grow back.
