Personal Quote: You are only as smart asthe information that you repeat.
As I was listening to the rain today, I took a look at my messages and had a response from a artist I made a comment on last month. For the sake of the journal, I won't disclose the artist's user name. Anyway, I was commenting on a image that she made on a 3d modeling program and commented on the piece.
She explained that there wasn't a standard on how to make a anime head.
My reply? I agreed with that statement. However, some where in my statement, it was translated into the wrong direction.
She went on a short rant on explaining how it was done when she was making it and I wanted to post back to explain what I meant.
By the time I was ready to post my statement back to her, she blocked me before I had a chance to explain my statement to here.
I never said that it was ugly or wrong. All I said was that the topology was weird looking.
As a teacher of mine said once during class, you have to learn how to accept all forms of critique when posting your work. I think that I deserve a chance to explain the reason why I said what I said. However, it's up to her to open back up the lines of communications on her end. But I suppose that it's all well and good until someone drops a "negative" remark starts to tune people out.
Well, I'll post back with another saddened entry at a later time.
