Aww wow. Yes, thank God for the internet, and the fact you have a copy still. (and you can always order a print of it for yourself too, don't forget that option! :) )

That is most thoughtful of that guy to do indeed, making a collection for you on CD.  He sounds like a good friend, Tricia.   Blessings!!! :tighthug:!!

He is a lovely man!!His music is for relaxation...Guitar....or Harp.He had a disabled son who lived for 12years.As he was a doctor he and his wife cared for him themselves. The boy cried alot and couldn't do anything...His father calmed him by playing him his own music on his harp.....luckily he had a daughter too...she is now a teacher,

He sounds like someone whom has been made 'better' through his calamities in life, rather than bitter.    May we all be so blessed as he.!!!

I think that too....!!!He was ...and is a gem!He has chased around the country too helping his daughter to find a teaching post for music. She finally found one....and now is working at starting an orchestra in poor area and doing it sowell that they were filmed for a programme on tv...I'm so pleased for the family after all there dedication to a small helpless boy...Think he covered most of America(Where they live)Many schools when there is a money shortage give up the music department. How wrong they are ,It also happens to art departments too....I was lucky ...art and music can be integrated very nicely into the first years at primary school...it's as chn move to senior schools that subjects are split up......and some discarded!!!Such a shame!!!..........What is life without music and art .There are so many facets in them!!......

I know...This world has become ass backward in so many ways. The things they get rid of to save a dollar; including shutting down many fire stations.  How asinine is THAT!  I guess once one of their own homes burn down because no services were available, then they might rethink things... And shutting down some schools as well.  It's frightening really. These are priority things!!

They are even closing hospitals here!!Emergencys will take hours for some ambulances as the distances get longer....We are lucky as the  one left hospital is at the end of our road!!!Hows that for choosing a good place to live>>>>years ago!!!:D

Sweet!!!
How do you do the 3 dimensional aspect of the drawing? Do you use real twigs?
TriciaS's avatar
Thank you Marc!!!Glad you like her. She's in America and is printed on a cd of harp music:D

No they're not twigs....I use a thick paint squeezed out of a small tube you can cut the pointed lid to which size you want the lines. It's called gutta and is waterbased ..It's used as a barrier paint in silk painting....It comes in copper, gold, silver, pearl, white and black.I used it on the hair in the portrait"Thoughts"that you just faved. It's more like drawing than painting!!

Congratulations on your CD cover that is commendable.
That paint makes for some very interesting detailing.
