So beautiful. I never have seen anything like it. The place you took the picture in adds more beauty. I love how you shared it with everyone. You are lucky to see this in person. Many people have dreamed of seeing it and you are one a few that have. It inspired me to take pictures of things that appear only once in a life-time. I wish that I could find beauty like this. Only if I lived where this was common. Its a true masterpiece. You are truly lucky. I hope you see many more of these sights an share it with us all.

My brain wants to see the light as a dragon diving into the mountain. The shape is like a lovely piece of jewelry illuminating the night sky. The mountains are a strong darker base anchoring the dynamic image of the light that invites the eyes to play back and forth in it's twirl! The more you look, the more you see. And in this piece, what you see is fanciful and fun. Not only does the light play at including images of birds, angels and dancers, the mountains hint at images of sleeping titans leaning on each other. The snow has added fantastic detail there and that gritty contrast is dramatic below the swirls of light in the star studded sky.

Hello hello, well this is a really 'awesome' piece of work~! If I could describe it,
I'd say it was, 'Awesomely epic with that hypnotizing twist to it!' It's really nice, and honestly, I don't believe I have ever seen an aurora such as this one, honestly, it is very beautiful. (So much honestly >n<) This piece is one of a kind, truly spectacular in its very own way, not many people have this chance, and you my friend, are very lucky to enjoy such a piece. This photograph looks like it could have been drawn or painted on some art site, besides this one! You truly have brought joy to those whom stumble upon this one of a kind piece.

WOW!
I don't know where to start with this amazingly done image! I could sum it up in one word (if they allowed) -Enchanting!
The complexity of the universe meets man's mountain home.
Being an avid hiker, and Space Nut, this image excites me! I'd sure like to be in a snowsuit, sitting on the top of one those peak rocks. This image makes me want to throw the gear in the rig, and head for this amazingly beautiful sight!
The greens of the Aurora, which swoon the star covered sky -are breathtaking! The purple, a thin line, seems like the loan-wolf of this particular aurora; the 'back-sheep' of the family of lights.
Great shot, vision, technique, and the time and work you produced in this winning shot!
Much respect!

I can imagine just how cold it was! I bet just seeing the Northern Lights though adds a bit of warmth to emotions, but being that far north, brrrr - I've always wanted to go and see the borealis but never been prepared for such a trip.

Yes to both, it was cold, though I was properly clothed.
If you have good shoes that can take some cold temperatures a warm jacket and something to cover your hands in general it isnt that bad.

It reminds me of the skull in the sky in Harry Potter 0_o

Perhaps there is something to that, I remember I was quite taken by the shapes of the aurora that night. :)
