Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!
Again, this one has been around for pretty much as long as the Goth scene, in various guises - couture fashion has always drawn inspiration from subculture, and vice versa. It's a complex relationship. Having been in the scene for quite a while now, I'm pretty sure we're always going to see Goth of some form on the catwalk.
how about H&M goths? : ))
OH MY GOD! I AM NOT WEIRD! YES!!!!!
While I am glad it makes goth clothes easier for goths to obtain, I really don't like how some people only see goth as a fashion statement. It's a lot more than that.
I'm goth and I'm going to be a fashion designer
