Description

195 million years ago in the Sinemurian stage, walking along the shoreline of the Tethys Sea in what will one day be the famous Jurassic Coast (Lower Lias) of the Lyme Regis in Dorset, England UK was a group of Scelidosaurus harrisonii, a primitive type of armored dinosaur or thyreophora. Then suddenly, a violent storm erupts and huge tidal waves crashes the beach, catching the Scelidosaurus group. Unable to swim to shore and catching their breath as they get swept up further away into the ocean by a current, the early armored dinosaurs drowned and their body floats to the surface, attracting a hoast of marine predators to scavenge one of the carcasses. The first was an Ichthyosaurus communis that swims up to one of the corpses and begins to scavenge and feed on it. But it would have to hurry as lurking in the background is a giant 40-foot Temnodontosaurus platyodon, the apex predator of the area, that's swimming nearby and soon to come in to feed on the dead dinosaur.

Background creatures:
Caturus heterus
Passaloteuthis auricipitis

Dapedium politum

I love how the Icthyosaurus looks like it's thinking "the hell is that?"
