So here’s the current state of the state, and the plan for the next quarter or two:1. I’ve decompressed from the last two conventions in September, and have been one by One getting back to customers who either ordered online or requested follow up stuff for art I didn’t have available at the shows. 2. Collecting refs and details for a few commissions I’ve taken on through the end of the year.3. Finishing up inks and colors on a few new pieces that weren’t ready for the September shows but are hot in my forebrain so I have to get them wrapped up and in art print form for the next show.
4. Preparing for the next big production push on the TRDL Sourcebooks. I have four long international trips impending for work, so I make good use of the flight time to work on the production tasks like compositing and page layouts and writing, etc. at this stage, a few weeks before leaving, it’s mostly about making sure I have all of the resources I’ll need offline and ready to go. The goal is to use these trips to get the books print ready. I’d love to have them on the table during spring shows.
5. Next, a creator-owned project with Kris of deeply dapper that we’ll both have on the table next year.
6.next stage for TRDL: returning to the sequential art project.
Fun times to be creative!
