Flashed Gordon. Based on the Railway Series by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry. Loosely based on the story, “Famous Engines” by Rae. Written by ArthurEngine. Plot: It was a busy day in the yard. Many people came to the yard to photograph the engines. They thought the engines looked very splendid. “They’re only here for me.” Smirked Gordon. “I am a grand engine after all.” The other engines ignored him, but Gordon was still boasting, even when the visitors left. They couldn’t get enough of a grand express engine like me.” Gordon continued loftily. “They wouldn’t photograph only you!” James snapped. “What about a shiny red engine like me? Who wouldn’t want to see that?” “Me.” Gordon huffed. “You’re too bright. You’d shatter their lens.” “At least I can fit in the frame.” James retorted. Gordon just wheeshed James, and then puffed away to the platform. At the station, a crowd of people flocked to Gordon. He sizzled smugly, smiling at everyone. “Will you look at that?” Duck chuckled.
