A million and one projects and not one is done.-I've been building an app for the past couple of years in MeteorJS. The framework is easy to work with, but I'm really not into the Blaze template engine. Spacebars is okay, but if I get rid of Blaze I have to get rid of Spacebars. I'm hoping in future work to combine Meteor with React (there are packages out), since I work with React at work I'm hoping to either learn more or be sufficient at it. The only part that I've even finished is the logo and the name. I'll share it one day, but since I'm a bit more serious with this app it'll have to wait when I've released it.
-Drawing ... So many unfinished pieces, but I'm hoping the one I've started will be finished. It's just a fan-art for Night in the Woods.
-I've started tinkering around in Blender. This is to help support some of my games in Unity. It's an interesting program, and I really wish spacebar would just help move the window like in PS, but I'll live. I'm interested in getting some simple low-poly work out the door, and then
When you try to get yourself organizedSince getting a job, one that I REALLY wanted, I've slowed down on drawing. I've been trying to organize myself, Bills, work load, projects, gaming, which is slowly working out. Bill situation is getting there, and hopefully by next month I'll have CORE set up so that I won't have to worry about it. Work load, that'll be a mess but it usually is. I want to get back to some programming projects, still want to have a better schedule for drawing, get to 30 on League, and not feel like I'm going crazy.
I have 4 unfinished projects in Manga Studio (a program I am REALLY loving), and they all range on skill level. Hmm I wonder if I should post some of the practice work I sometimes do. And as I said I want to get back to some programming projects, one of them was something I was working on before I got back into my drawing. I had hit a wall because of some tedious work that needed to be down. Mostly just setting up really large forms.
I guess this is more rambling than anything, but I'm still
Who I Am and What This IsHiyo. I decided to do an intro entry even though I probably will not be using the journal all that often. I have to many places that I do this sort of thing, like my art tumblr, which is where you can find the more bloggy stuff. Too many things to keep track of. I also needed an actual entry to test out a journal skin I want to make.
I'm Amanda, but you can call me Alex. I'm 31 and I've been drawing forever. I've been telling myself for years to get a DA but always felt it was another place to go, and I wasn't too serious with my art. I should have just started an account. After being laid off I decided to get a little bit more serious into my drawing, which has been a bit exasperating with all of the social media stuff. Oh, well. Work wise I'm a web developer for a decent sized tech company ... well I will be, I start this Monday! I specialize in LAMP and consider myself to be Full Stack. I was working at an Ad agency before, but culture changes and I grow. .
Copyright Infringement - Rageon.comCopyright Infringed Artwork on RageOn.com
www.rageon.com is a website that sells apparel, blankets, tshirts, etc with the ability to upload "your own artwork" to be put on said products. Which is no problem and they have some awesome products! However the problem is users are going online, saving artwork and re-uploading it and selling it ( as well making a profit. See image below ). The amount of artwork that's been re-uploaded without the artists permission is completely out of control. Many I recognize via DeviantArt right off the bat. I implore you all to take a look and make sure your stuff isn't on there. I've found several of my artwork taken.
I am totally for and support websites that offer a percent to artists and putting your art on awesome stuff, however when its your work and someone else is getting the percentage, that's when things go hackles up. I'm always supporting artists when it actually goes to the artist; but when it goes to Mr.J

Q: Can you make a dress up of *insert series/character here*?
Unless I have already planned/started making it, that is. It can take anything from a few days to months for me to make a dress up, so if I begin making a game, it's from a series I like enough to spend dozens of hours of my free time on. I'm not going to use my free time on making random request dress ups of series I don't even know just because a stranger would like to get one for free.
And yes, this includes suggestions and ideas as well, or any other word you use to wish/hope/wonder/whatever if I can/could/should do a dress up of a certain series/character for you for free. "Just saying/asking/wondering" is just as annoying.
And if I know and like the series it's pretty point

Product Spotlight: Postcards and Greeting Cards
Who doesn't love getting mail? Too often these days the only people that write to us are the ones we owe money to. It has become a rare surprise to get something personal in the mail. Why not send a card to that friend in that town where you used to live? Why not send them an amazing piece of art along with it?
You can do both together with either a Postcard or a Greeting Card!
Our postcards are printed on heavy card stock that every good postcard should have. The front of the postcard will have a highly detailed vivid print that looks so good it should be framed.
The back of the postcard is extremely minimal, with the left side blank to put your thoughts, and the right side pre-lined for the address. There is even a small rectangle ready for a stamp to be placed!
Of course, as artists, you may wish to use all of that white space to dra
