Artisan Craft, Sculpture & Utilitarian submissions -- Where to submit your Traditional 3D artworks
Does Traditional-Art-Only accept any Traditional 3D artwork?We focus on sharing & promoting non-utilitarian traditional art, or traditional art that is not to be used in any way. This does leave the door open for some Artisan Crafts, but not many.
To submit any type of 3D or Relief artwork, you must use the "Artisan Crafts - Sculptures" folder.Submitting to any other folder will be declined.
1. What kind of Artisan Craft items will be accepted here?
-The first thing you should consider when thinking of submitting an Artisan Craft to the group is "Can this to be used in any way?" and "Is it a utilitarian piece?"
-We define utilitarian as having or made for a useful or practical purpose.
-Some deviations that are not accepted are, but not limited to, jewelry, vases, plates, journal books, trinket boxes, clothing, costumes, basketry, dolls or toys, game peices, accessories, etc.
2. What does Traditional-Art-Only consider Sculpture submissions?
-Artwork "in-the-round" or "relief" is sculptural and should be submitted to the Artisan Craft - Sculpture folder, no matter what art mediums you've used.
-It must still meet all our submission rules.
-To submit to the Artisan Craft - Sculpture folder.
3. What should I do if I'm unsure about whether my art will be accepted or not?
-You can note the group with a title along the lines of, "submission question."
