Uhh, Hi! The groove bone works fine, but my model's eyes don't move with the groove bone? Do you know any way to fix that?
The model's eyes should not be moving with the groove bone. If they're not moving at all with the rest of the body or incorrectly, check the eye bone structure associations.

Just use the semi-standard bone plugin to add the groove bone; this tutorial was written a long time ago and is really only good for people with some experience editing MMD models.
As an aside; very very few motions actually uses this bone, so your model will be fine without one.

Would this work with accessories or stages? Like if I wanted a train to move in one of my MMDs would I be able to do that by doing this? Like a train on a stage or an accessory train.

Actually yes, if you know what you're doing you can actually add a functional groove bone to an non-humanoid model. In actual fact, some MMD model trains have them, they're called something else but essentially they are identical in function to groove bones.

There are not that many motions that actually uses the groove bone. However, you might to check out these tutorials:

Right click in the bone list panel under the bone tab and select "add new".

Just use the PMDe/PMXe semi-standard bone plugin to add groove bones. All done perfectly in just a few clicks. This tutorial is kind of dated.
I tried that but all it did was make the models legs float ;o;
The semi-standard bone plugin is not buggy. If you're having issues with it or adding the groove bone manually doesn't work either, read this tutorial again so that you have a fuller understanding of how the bones are properly associated. When you add the groove bone, the entire lower leg hierarchy needs to change.
OMG IT WORKED! Thank you! I needed this to fix the models I downloaded that doesn't have a groove bone.
You could also use the semi-standard bone plugin to do this. It is a lot easier - it just takes a click or two to do the whole process.

Yeah I did that already and it still say that it cannot load the plugin. But i found the answer. I have to unblock the plugin in the plugin's properties before using it. Thanks for helping tho :3

My windows automatically updated to Windows 10 without my consent and I can't revert back until a month has passed. I know it sucks.
