Jacob Pierzchala is a Michigan-based artist whose primary work is situated in the digital realm. He received his MFA in Studio Art from Bowling Green State University in 2012, and currently works with digital artist, Erwin Redl, and teaches at Grand Valley State University.
Jacob's artwork aims to explore and criticize the often binary nature of worldviews. He sees art as the continuation of an ongoing dialogue, and in light of this, his most notable influences are the writings of C.S. Lewis, the photography of Paul Strand, the socio-technological theory of Ray Kurzweil, and hypermedia Poetry of Jason Nelson.
