Description
Yellowstone. A place where at any time, you have a chance to see something you will never forget. It truly does have a "wild" sense to it. The greater Yellowstone eco-sytem gives us a view into the America of old. Where nature had a certain natural rhythm uninterrupted by the descructive forces of man. One of my favorite things about the park and surrounding areas is the opportunity to see a nearly intact wild system functioning to perfection. A true glimpse into the not so distant past.
This was an enchanting experience with one of the few Black Bears I've seen in the wild. The bear only came into view on the edge of the trees for 2-3 minutes, then vanished silently back into the woods.
*11-28 EDIT* Used a slightly different pose and made some sharpening adjustments.
