Starcadia Bay Fire Rescue Station 26

Starcadia Bay Fire Rescue Station 26 is located on Lobster Street in the Reef Ridge district in the southeast part of the city. It is home to Engine 35, Wildland 9 and Ambulance 12.

Engine 35 is a 2025 Ferrara Invader Custom Type I Structural Pumper equipped with a Whelen Freedom Rotabeam siren (Shops No.: HW67832) It is staffed by up to: 1 FF/Engineer (First Responder/EMT), 1 Lieutenant or Captain (First Responder/EMT), and 2 firefighters (First Responders/EMTs). Total normal staffing: 4 and maintains a First Responder response level. Engine 35 is set up with four hosebeds: one with 800' of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose connected to a four-way hydrant valve, one with 800' of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, one 300' preconnected blitz line of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose connected to a gated wye, and one 250' preconnected rear line of 1 3/4" attack hose. In addition to its hosebeds, Engine 35 also carries three 100' preconnected crosslays of 1 3/4" attack hoses, one 10' segment of 5" hard suction hose, one 10' roll of 6" soft suction hose, one 10' segment of 5" large diameter supply hose in the bumper, one 100' roll of 5" large diameter supply hose, one 50' roll of 5" large diameter supply hose, one 25' roll of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, two 150' high rise packs of 1 3/4" attack hose, and one 15' section of 5" large diameter supply hose in the engineer's compartment. Engine 35 also carries one 24' extension ladder, one 14' roof ladder, one 10' attic ladder, two sets of forcible entry tools, one 8' pike pole, one 6' pike pole, one roof hook, one Denver tool, one trash hook, one dry chemical extinguisher, one pressurized water extinguisher, four spare SCBA bottles, two sets of hydrant tools, hose adapters and nozzles, one automotive lockout kit, one 300' bag of life safety rope, two 150' sets of utility rope, one chainsaw, one K-12 saw, five collapsible traffic cones, cribbing, ten road flares, one 5-gallon bucket of quick absorbent, one wide-mouth shovel, one push broom (disassembled for transport), one bolt cutter, four rolls of fire scene tape, gas monitoring devices, a thermal imaging camera, two long backboards, the crew's ballistic PPE, one decon kit, one mobile data terminal, city map books, pre-plan books for the station's respond district, citywide hazard pre-plan books, one lifepak, one trauma jump bag, one oxygen jump bag, one maternity jump bag, one spare M-15 oxygen cylinder, and a BLS jump bag.

Wildland 9 is a 2025 International HV613/Ferrara Type 3 Wildland Pumper equipped with a Whelen Freedom Rotabeam siren (Shops No.: RT00430) It is staffed by up to: 1 FF/Engineer (First Responder/EMT), 1 Lieutenant or Captain (First Responder/EMT), and 2 firefighters (First Responders/EMTs). Total normal staffing: 4 and maintains a First Responder response level. For local responses, the crew of Engine 35 will either cross staff or fully staff Wildland 9, with both apparatus responding to the assignment if Wildland 9 is cross staffed. For national deployments, members of the department's wildland deployment team will staff Wildland 9. Wildland 9 will also be staffed by a part-time crew during peak wildfire season. Wildland 9 is set up with two hosebeds: one with 700' of  2 1/2" supply/attack hose, and the other with 1000' of 1 3/4" attack hose. In addition to it's hosebed, Wildland 8 also carries one 250' preconnected 1" wildland crosslay, one 25' roll of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, ten 150' progressive hose packs of 1" wildland attack hose, two 5' segment of 3" hard suction hose, two 5' segments of 6" hard suction hose, five 50' rolls of 1" wildland attack hose, five 50' rolls of 1 3/4" attack hose, one 50' segment of 1 3/4" attack line with nozzle in the bumper, two 75' segments of 3/4" wildland hose connected via a gated wye in the bumper, and two 300' preconnected 1" booster reels. Wildland 9 also carries two sets of forcible entry tools, one 20' extension ladder, one 10' attic ladder, one dry chemical extinguisher, one set of hydrant tools, hose adapters and nozzles, two pike poles, two shovels, one brush rake, two pulaski axes, one rhino tool, one combi tool, one TNT tool, one fire swatter, one McLeod tool, one fire broom, one brush hook, three drip torches, thirty fusees, four personal fire survival shelters, two bolt cutters, two 3 gallon backpack pumps, three 5 gallon containers of Class A foam solution, five traffic cones, two rolls of fire scene tape, four spare SCBA bottles, three cases of water bottles, one box of 24 MREs, one automotive lockout kit, one chainsaw, nine road flares, apparatus cleaning supplies, one set of spare wildland PPE, four rolls of fire scene tape, gas monitoring devices, a thermal imaging camera, the crew's ballistic PPE, one decon kit, city map books, county map books, pre-plan books for the station's respond district, citywide hazard pre-plan books, one emergency response guidebook, one trauma jump bag, one maternity jump bag, one first aid kit, and one AED.

Ambulance 12 is a 2026 Ford Transit 250/TEV Rampart Type II Ambulance. (Shops No.: TE26006) It is staffed by up to: 1 Paramedic and 1 EMT. Total normal staffing: 2 and maintains an Advanced Life Support response level. Ambulance 12 carries one Stryker Power Pro XT 6500 stretcher, two long backboards, one scoop stretcher, one stair chair, one m122 oxygen cylinder, one pediatric kit, one suction kit, immobilization equipment, one KED kit, airway management supplies, IV supplies, various medications, one Lifepak, one ALS jump bag, one BLS jump bag, one oxygen jump bag, trauma supplies, one maternity kit, one ring removal kit, one dry chemical extinguisher, one set of forcible entry tools, five collapsible traffic cones, ten road flares, two rolls of fire scene tape, one decon kit, one automotive lockout kit, two SCBA packs, one mobile data terminal, city map books, county map books, citywide hazard pre-plan books, and the crew's ballistic PPE.
