Description
Metronia Fire Department Station 6 "Eagle's Den" is located East of Schlechberg Heights, one block East of Sonetti Turnpike, a very busy highway leading to Coquitborough, at 0145 Almighty Way. Station 6 is home to Engines 13 and 14, Tanker 15, Ladder 9, EMS 401-78 and 323-62.
Engine 13 is a 2025 E-One Cyclone II - Engine 13 is set up with three hosebeds: one with 700’ of 5” large-diameter supply hose, one with 300’ of 2 1/2” supply/attack hose, and one with 250’ of 1 3/4” attack hose. In addition to its hosebeds, Engine 13 also carries two preconnected 1 3/4” crosslays, one preconnected 1 3/4” trash line in the bumper tray, two 150' high rise pack of 1 3/4" hoses, one 150' high rise pack of 2 1/2 supply/attack hose, one 15' roll of 6" soft suction hose, two 8’ segments of 5” hard suction hose, and one 15' section of 5" large diameter supply hose in the engineer's compartment. Engine 13 also carries a single 24' extension ladder, one 14' roof ladder, one 10' attic ladder, two sets of forcible entry tools, one 8' pike pole, one 6' pike pole, one roof hook, one Denver tool, one trash hook, one dry chemical extinguisher, one pressurized water extinguisher, four spare SCBA bottles, two sets of hydrant tools, hose adapters and nozzles, one automotive lockout kit, one 300' bag of life safety rope, two 150' sets of utility rope, one chainsaw, one K-12 saw, five collapsible traffic cones, cribbing, ten road flares, one 5-gallon bucket of quick absorbent, one wide-mouth shovel, one push broom (disassembled for transport), one bolt cutter, four rolls of fire scene tape, gas monitoring devices, a thermal imaging camera, two long backboards, the crew's ballistic PPE, one decon kit, one mobile data terminal, city map books, pre-plan books for the station's respond district, citywide hazard pre-plan books, one lifepak, one trauma jump bag, one oxygen jump bag, one maternity jump bag, one spare M-15 oxygen cylinder, and a BLS jump bag.
Engine 14 is a 2016 Seagrave Attacker HD - Engine 14 is set up with three hose beds: one with 1000' of 5" large diameter supply hose, one with 800' of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, and one with 500' of 1 3/4" attack hose. In addition to its hose beds, Engine 14 also carries three 150' preconnected 1 3/4" crosslays, one 100' preconnected 1 3/4" trash line, two 8' segments of 5" hard suction hose, one 15' segment of 5" large diameter supply hose, two 25' segments of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, two 50' rolls of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose with one preconnected to a blitz fire nozzle for rapid deployment, two 150' high rise packs of 1 3/4" attack hose, and one 300' preconnected 1" booster reel. Tanker 15 is a 2013 Seagrave Attacker HD 1500gpm/3500gal - Tanker 15 is outfitted to carry four 150' preconnected 1 3/4" crosslays, four 50' rolls of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, two 10' segments of 5" hard suction hose, one 3000 gallon portable folding tank, pond strainer connections for the 5" hard suction hose, hose adapters and fittings, two sets of hydrant tools, four personal fire survival shelters, one shovel, one pulaski axe, one bolt cutter, one chainsaw, one thermal imaging camera, one first aid kit, and one AED.
Ladder 9 is 2024 E-One Cyclone II 95' Atlec Teletower Tower Ladder - Ladder 9 carries one 15' segment of 5" large diameter supply hose, two 25' segments of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, and two 150' high rise packs of 1 3/4" attack hose.
