Acid.Rain.Turbulence. - art

In the future, a thick cloud covers the earth. When it rains, it rains acid. Humans have found a way to protect themselves. Lamps that create shields of light can block the acid. No one has ever directly seen the sun, at least not for over 200 years. Two people are out observing the remains of a city when the rain comes. It comes like a wall moving over 10 miles per hour. Everything the rain touches disintegrates within seconds.

I like the incongruent sounds melding together and then finally at the end come together harmonically. I like to think it represents the impending disaster and sense of loss reflected in the story and then the sudden hope. Then the cliffhanger.
