Honestly, I'm probably the worst example of a TC guy, in a lot of ways. A lot of the basics I've learned come from animation, painting and studying film.
So far, the most useful thing that I've learned from Marc, by far, is how to approach a blank piece of Bristol paper. Marc is helping me close the gap between a great sketchbook and a great comic book page.

Painting shells now. I hope to complete one a day. They are all acrylic on canvas and protected by a satin clear-coat. Sides are painted--staples are on back so you don't need a frame. Would make great accents in a bathroom or elsewhere.
