Hey all, I know you haven't seen many posts here in a while, let alone from me. One of my main devMEET planners has stepped down, and as a lot of you know, I'm not in a position to plan meets at this time (still). So for now the group will have to be on a hiatus. Maintaining Supergroup status without decent amounts of people attending devMEETs in the past has put quite a damper on the group, we ended up having to sprout out to an actual meet-up type website in order to plan meets properly.

If you or anyone you know would be able to help plan and organize devMEETs, please send me a personal note or to the group.

Thank you. :)

Would the group be open to instant messaging with like Discord, Slack, or IRC? We can discuss projects, ideas for meet, and random stuff. Unless there is already one?

At the top of the group's Home page is a button that reads "Join our Group"; click it and then you're set.

Well I guess you'd have to find a computer or laptop. Anyway, as long as you watch the group it's essentially the same thing; you can still join meet and all the other stuff.

There should be a 'request to join' button at the top somewhere.

I'm on mobile browser I noticed on other groups I could only join when they had a group stats box. I am experiencing technical difficulties all around because I can't get my PC to hook up to my wifi because it's ancient. And I'm trying to revive my group SongofthePoets I started 7 years I ran it for 4-5 years but went on a bit of a hiatus for a while. I'm trying to bring it back to its former glory which I'm learning every day is much harder off my cell phone.
