Welcome to Tornadoes of Deviantart

This is the group of TORNADO Lovers! Well when I say lovers, I mean Tornado Art lovers.

But we're not limited to tornadoes. Anything associated with tornadoes. Damage, lightning, mesocyclone, wallcloud. To (hopefully) increase our group size (because it's kind of small) We're accepting any rainy weather shots, including rainbows. We welcome all that here!

Heres a few things you should read first:

-Submissons to gallery or favs can be digital, traditional, photos, anything.

-If you find something you want to post, submit it. If and when the artist accepts to allow their deviantation to be shown here, it'll be here!

-Try to remember to submit to the right folders. It's organized simply enough. :)

-If you join, put the #Tornadoes-of-dA icon in your groups pane on your profile, or in your journal.

-WE AUTOMATICALLY ACCEPT ALL SUBMISSIONS!!

-Oh, and don't forget to invite people!

It came out of the west
on a hot summer day
when the air was still
the light a sickly green
the old men all gathered
on the corners of the street
mumbling to themselves
"Its Grinder weather,
its a bad cloud coming"
all said the same for
they had seen it before
it was a moment of anticipation
the surety of chaos unleashed
and then.............
It came!!!
with a scream and a roar of terrible energy
the dance of the wind, the spin of the cloud
so beautiful, so dangerous
as it tore through the town
the people hid, staying low
seeking the safety that was not there
for the tornado had no mercy
no care for the crying baby
no thought of the works of man
nothing but the driving fury
of its own angry existance
until............
it passed over
and all that remained
was broken humanity
