Last night while drunk we talked about believable ships in SciFi. I and this other guy are Firefly fans, but he was going on how great this ship was and believable.
Then I pointed out issues with its design. When I spoke of center of gravity he got confused and thought I meant flying in the air.... .... And tried to explain that the center of mass does not matter.
So this morning worked on a simple quick image explaining the issue with a ship that is not based off a symetrical design. And the very ship he loved and thought was fine as is.
I still feel the CG work on the ship is impressive, but they should have moved or changed some things to allow it to fly in a straight line and be sound structurally.
