Long ago, when the universe was still young, light and darkness were in constant battle. Turmoil was slowly consuming everything, and it seemed that the very fabric of existence would be destroyed. Then one day, seven beings whose souls shone with a radiant light, forged a powerful weapon to vanquish the darkness. This weapon, known as the Soul Blade, emitted an energy that caused the darkness to cower. Using the mystical sword, the seven beings, known as Light Spirits, opened a gateway to an alternate world, and banished the darkness for the rest of existence.
This two worlds were forever known as the Light Realm and the Shadow Realm. But, after the sword was used, its energy split into the seven Spirit Orbs, each containing a trait of a pure soul. The orbs were then scattered across the land, and are the keys to awakening the Soul Blade. If the darkness should ever find its way back into the Light Realm, a being with all the traits of the orb
