I said I'd get around to getting a picture up of my cat Joey, so here he is. I love him so much, even if he can be a bit of an ass at times. The way we got him was when my others cats passed and went missing, my mom wasn't really looking at the moment to get a new cat. Anyway, my mom went into the local Petsmart(the same one I volunteer at), and she happened to see a group of very young kittens over by the cat rescue area. It turns out that Joey's litter had been born in the bushes of a CVS pharmacy in the same area, in fact it was so close that it was in easy walking distance. Anyway, my mom noticed this one little tabby, and fell in love with him. Once he was old enough and ready to go, my mom adopted him.
When I first met Joey, he was just a tiny kitten, and even though my mom said that he may be scared of me because he seemed to be unsure around men, but we hit it off really well. Once my mom and dad were getting ready to leave for Utah, I asked if I could keep Joey, because I just loved him so much. She said yes, and so now he's been mine since then.
