I'm  really shocked , I read one history of one  great nature  photographer  here in Portugal, that it publish in facebook. And  I'm very disappointed.

As some of you Know Geoff Simpson is well known in the nature photographer  around the world.

This is the story from Zé Bicho (www.zebicho.com/)

"Shame on you Geoff Simpson"

I have a fantastic story to tell. I published on my site and another 2 or 3 places where I usually put my photographic work, a photograph of a Gryphon vulture (Gyps fulvus).
By the way neither think anything extraordinary, but it was the best I could and thought I should share.
Today when I arrive home after a business meeting I get a call from a dear friend (in whose company took the same) that my picture was being used by an English photographer with any name in the square, Mr. Geoff Simpson to advertise a rental service photographic shelters in Spain. Do not want to believe, a man so respected, professional photographer, would not usurp a photo that does not belong to him.
I was mistaken, even used, resized it, removed the metadata and published as his.

But if done this to me is quite possible it has already done a lot more people.

Contacted Mr. Geoff by FB, the response was immediate and was simple "I did no this as I dont control the blog.. my apologies G" and the second following address apublicação disappeared visionwild.wordpress.com/2011/…, now if Mr. does not control the blog disappears as the second publication in the following?? And besides even blocked me on FB.

Anyway, as I am Portuguese, and I know how the crooks, I'm tired of them even to the eyes, drew a printscreen of it to serve as proof.

So I get to see how some people brag about making fortunes with photography. taking advantage of the work of others blatantly.

So again I say, "Shame on you Geoff Simpson," this behavior is a Portuguese uneducated. Not a photographer and naturalist, as it calls itself.

If you don't believe here are the print screen a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto…

Before a read this I'm in Shock, Hope that no one more find your work in his blog.

if some idiots that do not know anything abaout photography steal a photo that already is a shame,
but if professionals do it it's even worse!

I hope that the owner of the shot puts a lawsuit on him!
