My Bio
Painted and co-wrote the million-selling "Dominator" manga series for Kodansha Japan (1993-6), based on the original strip that ran in Metal Hammer Magazine 1988-89. "Dominator" became a low-budget (but fun!) animated movie in 2003, followed by short film side-stories including an official crossover with the characters from the "Heavy Metal" mythos. Drew "Hellkatt" for Manga Entertainment and "Sin 7" for NBM Publishing in 1998, and a painted comic story for the Elaine Lee graphic collection "Skin Tight Orbit". Directed and animated music videos for Wolfsbane, CreamingJesus, Urusei Yatsura, Shout Bamalam, Necrosanct, Digitalis and many more. Stop-motion animator on Archangel Thunderbird (1998) and the pilot for "Nemesis The Warlock" (1987). Card art for the Wizards Of the Coast "Netrunner" game in 1995. Cover work for DC, Vertigo and Marvel and ohers, including collaborations with Glenn Fabry for the DC Comics adaptation of Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere" story. Various book and magazine covers, game industry conceptual art & chara design; many collaborative scripts with writer Alan Grant for 2000AD comic's Judge Dredd and Anderson characters, as well as "Psychonauts" for Marvel Japan in 1990. The new "Dominator" series will appear in the online Aces Weekly comic published by David Lloyd ("V For Vendetta") in 2015, and is being translated back into Japanese for 2016 release. A new project, spinning off from the "Dominator" mythos, will also appear in 2016 in animated, manga and live-action formats.

For USA-based readers: most of what I've worked on has been published in various territories outside the US, especially in Japan and the UK. This gallery here on good old DeviantArts is just a tiny fraction of what's been done over the last 30 years. I also make awesome cups of tea.

... And I can really, truly say that the new air conditioner I got for my home studio is just... bliss. Along with the new ionisers, I can now work quietly in a nice, cool, healthy environment even on the very hottest days, something that was impossible before during the summer months ( I usually ended up having to work at night, which is okay, but it plays havoc with one's body clock ). No more working in tropical climates for me :D I'm finally putting a new website together, which will collect the last 30 or so years of work, published and private, into one easy-to-navigate place. I'm aiming to get it online before Halloween. There's a ton

Despite ongoing health issues, I'm prepping something fun with a few Old Friends from my comics past while I'm still healthy enough to get a few things done. More will be revealed in due course ;)
