I feel pretty good about the New York State Bar Exam.  I took most of the classes that are being tested and had an excellent bar course.  The only thing I am worried about is getting there.  I have an early drive to the airport.  And then a flight to Buffalo for the actual exam.  It will be the first time all summer that I returned to New York.  A lot of my law school friends are stressing out about the test and I am one of the weird ones who become less stress as the event draws near.  I am probably going to see the Dark Knight Rises this weekend, right before the bar exam.  Some of my friends think this is crazy.  But I worked hard for t...

Williamsburg is a fun place, but I do not think it was for me.  While I enjoyed the hiking trails, fishing, and scenery, I miss having something to do on weekends.  The selection of food is limited.  After three years of living in Williamsburg I am glad I lived in New York City during college.  The comparison is day and night.  New York City was too bright lights and Williamsburg was too lights out.  I am very excited to go to Texas and live in a city again while have the option of escaping once and a while.  With law school over I am ready for the next chapter of my life.Tony

Bar Study

I am taking the New York Bar exam in the end of July.  Today was the first day I felt stress.  One month into it and one month left.  My bar review course is driving me insane with a workload that can't be finished in the time alotted.  I should have been an artist.  There are many rules in law (evidence and criminal law especially).  One thing I enjoy about art is the lack of rules and restrictions.  For others taking the bar or studying for a major test I suggest art and exercise as two stress relieving activities.  I spent most of today drawing or at the gym; I feel completely refreshed and ready for another long night of New York essay...
