You know when you realize you're in the neighbourhood of a house to used to live in, so you drive past it for old times' sake? That is essentially the extent of my LJ use these days. It's probably evident from my lack of updating anyways, but I thought I should make an actual statement of sorts.I still plan on cosplaying, and I'll update my gallery when I have new photos to showcase, but I won't be checking in regularly like I used to do!

Journal time!Whew, haven't posted here in a long while - probably because I'm not actually up to much this year. My local con (Anime Evolution) was cancelled for this year, so that's out the window. I decided I would make a cosplay for the Harry Potter final movie release just so I have *something* to sew this summer. The tentative plan is to do a Marauder's group with :devripplednell:, :devrogue-white-dragon:, and myself, either Hogwarts era or just after!I'm also considering going to Kumoricon with the :devanime-n3rd5: group. I really shouldn't, because my final year (hopefully) of uni starts right after and I should save my time/money f...

Seems everyone else is doing it, so here's what I'll be up to at Anime Evolution this year:Thursday pre-reg/masquerade: If I have time/money, I'll be making a dress to go with my Ponyo wig. If not, I'll look through my wigs for something that goes w/my turquoise dress from 2 yrs  back.Friday: Ponyo cosplay! with Eric as my Sosuke and :devtwilightheroine: as evil daddy. I'll probably be going to the Ghibli panel, and for dinner me and the rest of :devanime-n3rd5: will be doing a cosplay picnic. I want ham~~!Saturday: Ponyo for half of the day, and Mojo (Chrono Cross) for the other half (not sure which half yet). Hoping to check out the FFFT...
