The roundness and shape of planet is very good, I rarely success it that way. I would suggest you to think more about the starfield, make it live. Those singe stars are good idea, maybe adding more of the of every size would do the trick together with touch of depth in the plain star field. ;)

hehe.. totally! right on ;)

hehe.. I agree with you man... I suck on starfields, but I know how it's supposed to look, but I never quite get it the way I like...

hmm.. *practice...

thanks for the comment! appreciate it!

Really, no problems. Good luck with next starfield.

By the way, if you are interested in space art, why wouldn't you check out Inner-Space? There: [link]

planet's nice but it seems like if the border of the planet was blurry because of the setting of the outerglow probably, dunno just my opinionthough

thanks... yeah I blurred a layer over the planet.. to get a glowing effect...

why dont u just use the outer/inner glow effect that comes with PS XD rofl

I use that too.. but also; to get a glow in the planet texture I duplicate the planet layer and the put it on screen.. and the gaussian blur it with 4 pixels... a nice shiny effect.. I like it:P

planet looks really nice
but i don't like that bright nebula, those lines..
and some detail to space (you know..the stars) would be nice
