This painting follows the technique I used with a white rose painting I made a few years ago.
However this follows legends of black roses and how by nature and by genetics how one could created.
The Roisin Dubh is a part of Irish legends and folklore.
Their meanings run a gambit from black magic and evil to loss and mourning to resilience and hope. And in love, eroticism and trandscendant love beyond earthly bound.
