Awakening

In the dark night, in deep torment,

fear, it gnaws, it claws.

But who opens, new goal,

who finds light, enlightenment, rest.

It takes courage, it takes trust

to show yourself who you are.

But whoever dares will see

that fears do not keep what they promise.

There's a light that burns within us

a force that holds us, guides us.
