[Chrono Compass] City Splore

Glancing down at his hand for the fifth time, Ix got a frustrating amount of revving from the dragon he was riding. "Calm down ya big lug, you can walk on your own just fine." For once, Yao was padding along in his walking form, wheelless but just as upset that they had made the trip here without wheels.
Patting the dragon's side, he tried to soothe the hybrid who was so prickly lately. Part of it, Ix blamed himself. Looking down again, he kept glancing at a metal band around his finger. Kaz had convinced him with an elaborate powerpoint presentation that a second bond was definitely not marriage, but he was starting to harbor doubts about that. Sighing and shaking his head, he rubbed some exposed red scales on Yao's neck, trying not to think too hard about it so they both calmed down.
They had come into the nearest city with their wagon in tow, Ix hoping to sell off some of his prizes from the legal races as well as anything Kaz might be willing to part with to buy scrap with. And of course a bit of food, as their party of three had quickly evolved to five since they stumbled into this dimension.
"You think we can leave the dragons to watch the wagon real quick and check out that alley?" Pointing off toward said crevice in the wall, Ix could barely make out a sign he wanted to check out. He was all for shifty, possibly black market, hole in the walls.

Not far behind the firey ginger, kaz had his face pointed up towards the sun. It was still quite warm even if they were supposed to have wandered into a winter terrain. It more then likely did help that he was riding his big dragon, Hades, who he never knew was a dragon until they came to this world. He always considered him a big beast or monster, and still did as calling Hades a dragon felt... weird in a way. Rubbing the gold band around his finger he just felt warm all over in so many ways. Maybe a few of them a little least friendly meaning but still he liked this feeling he had.
Hades had been trying to growl at him for a bit now but noticed fast he was paying any mind, as even when he moved it was just to watch Ix. His little heart that more fluttery as he was getting hints from Gerold that this may not be just a business relationship. He wanted to ride the high and act oblivious though, though wanted to enjoy this while he could. He wasn't sure if Ix would want to end it if he found out it was more so marriage and he didn't want to think about that now anyways.
They were in a busy enough city, shops lined the rows as they strutted in. The side walks alone big enough to wheel the caravan on that was currently being pulled by Hades who was the biggest of the three between the two. Coming back to really the soft 'hyaaaaah' of Link strutting beside Yao clicked and be never knew it could one day fade into the background like it did. Having been collecting his own money from missions and selling off extra supplies, Kaz was excited for a new possible date day. Not a planned one but just sitting down for a quick bite would be nice even if not alone.
"Maybe, Hades will stay without a doubt but curious kitty Link and Yao are... Debatable." Link he knew would prefer not to sit still as he was just thriving off Kaz's fluttery feels. They felt nice to the dragon and it made him excited for no reason even if by now he'd usually be napping in a window in the caravan.
Hoping off Hades, he patted the beast who stretched out a little. Sitting down as Kaz offered his hand to help Ix off Yao, even if he didn't need it. It was the small gay things that mattered.

Tilting his head slightly when his finger warmed in a way that didn't have anything to do with the weather, Ix had felt the phenomenon before. He wasn't sure why, but randomly the bit of jewelry would feel as warm and fuzzy as he did when thinking about Kaz. The real mystery to him is that it happened when he wasn't too, so it wasn't some sort of weird temperature mood ring. He had taken it to a magic shop out of curiosity and found out it was indeed magical at least. The trick was figuring out what was triggering it.
As hilarious as it would be that Kaz had a pair of treasure hunting rings made for them both for starting their second bonding, he doubted this was the case. Sighing once more, he let it drop for now, merely holding out his hand to take the other's with a smile, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. "I think I fix that little dilema, gimme just a minute~" Pecking the back of their very helpful hand only in the most friendly of ways, Ix skipped off to tug Yao off to the side slightly. Mostly so that Hades wouldn't hear.
"Alright," He whispered to the fiery crossbreed, who leaned his metal plated head down to better hear his rider, "I need you to watch after Hades, got it? Make sure to stay right next to him and don't let him out of your sight. You can't let him know I had you watch over him either, got it?" It was hard to tell with his dragon's expressions, but those happy revs and nods were all Ix needed to know Yao was more than excited to be placed 'in charge' of the dog dragon.
Smirking, Ix waved Kaz to come on over towards the dark alley.
Yao, on the other hand, strutted with his head held high over to Hades as if he owned the world. Not usually getting so close, the fire dragon was almost brushing up against the other beast's fur. But it was a good way to make sure he ignored Link's teasing underfoot as well as stayed near Hades so the larger dragon could watch over both of them more easily.

Fiddling with the ring a little more as it warmed, kaz wasn't sure why or if it was just from him keeping his hands warm in Hades. It was a nice feeling as far as he cared and made those gay fluttery feelings just the more fluttery as he looked over Ix for a moment as he spoke softly to Yao. Off of Hades who was keeping him semi focused so Link was some sort of calm, now he could indulge whatever thoughts he wanted. A very obvious thing as Link zoomed away with only the most innocent intent, acting as if he was on some sort of cocaine he may of somehow ingested when it was just the fluttery high Kaz was feeling.
Grinning as he helped down his partner, getting those hand kisses he fluttered his eyes like a shy damsel, even fanning himself for added effect as Ix walked away. "Oh darling, don't keep me waiting now. You know how i miss you~" though sounding joking he really did miss that ginger when he left him.
Huffing about the gay, Hades had slid himself out of the harness setting, laying on the big open sidewalk and related his head down. Four of his six eyes shut but his biggest two eyes left open to examine and squint at Yao who was being strange. Very strange as he usually inky rubbed on him when naked and wanted warmth. Twitching his tail as he laid his head on his paws, he supposed as long as he was behaving it mattered not.
Unlike Link, who getting Kaz gay feels was chasing a small cat in excitement. Just all for play and Yao didn't seem to want that right now, how boring. His twitching ears shot up as he heard Ix and Kaz wander off, knowing that meant adventures. He wanted those adventures, they were always fun.
Waiting for Ix to return to him, kaz wrapped his arm around Ix waist to pull him close. Rubbing his face into the pale skin as they strolled away on their gay adventures.
Leaning closer to ix's face, he purred so softly as his lips brushed the fingers cheek. The feeling tender and heart pounding, just how he liked it. Leaning up just a bit to get to that sensitive pale ear, he whispered ao sweetly as he nipped Ixs ear.
"No homo~" he cooed, kissing Ix's lips and running off deeper into the alleyway on their quest for things.

Revving quietly at the fluff of a dragon, Yao was not to be deterred from his mission by their squints at him! Merely revving softly as his gears whirled inside his metal husk. It was probably for the best that Hades wasn't much of a talker when it came to anyone but Kaz, since the fire dragon was prone to boasting about everything he enjoyed. This included being 'in charge' of Hades, of course.
Just for good measure -not because his bare feet were getting cold or anything- he kept an extra good eye on the laying fluff by joining them. Not next to them, but trying to fit himself in Hades's curled form like Link tried to do to him sometimes. Since his metal parts were constantly warmed by his constant gearwork and high body temperature while they were on, at least they wouldn't be bitingly cold.
Ix, on the other hand, was having a higher body temperature for much different reasons as Kaz pulled him closer. It was usually a fifty fifty shot when they came at him with that movie-like walk with their arm around his waist as he put his around their shoulder that he'd be rubbed on. The other possibility was just them going on like that for awhile.
The walk to the alley didn't last long, but that was probably for the best considering Ix nearly leaped out of his skin when Kaz bit his ear after the sweet whisper. Squinting after them and their no homo declarations, his thoughts were already on their gay sounding bond before. Oh so tempted to call them out on it, he merely huffed and ran off after them for tempting him. "Pretty sure you used up all of your no homo rights for the day with that!"
