Great pic from Phantom Photography at Unplugged Expo. Wow was it windy that day, but the amazing photographers still managed to get some beautiful shots!

Hey! I'm planning on cosplaying Hanzo very soon and needed some more help on the bow! Would you mind taking a few pictures of both sides of the bow and sending them to me? Thanks!

Hi there! My name is Kyle McKenney and I'm a writer at Paste Magazine. I'm writing a feature on the best Overwatch cosplays. Your Hanzo cosplya is incredible and so I was wondering, would you mind if we featured you and a picture? I sent you a note on DA, but in case you didn't see it I thought I'd comment here, just because I don't have much time until the article is published. If you're curious, here's my writer page at Paste: www.pastemagazine.com/writers?…

what did you use for the clothing (shoes, shirt, armor, etc)
How did you connect the middle of the bow? It looks a bit flimsy from this angle. Awesome cosplay btw!

Hey thanks! I doubled up on the worbla to make it more firm and used a wooden dowel with screws going through it to connect the two halves. It's surprisingly solid and doesn't wobble much.

This is insane! love the detail! do you have any tutorials on how you did this?

Thanks for the kind words :) Sadly, I didn't take many progress pictures for a tutorial, but if there is any part in particular you would like to know about, let me know.

Thank you so much for the response! Really appreciate it! I was wondering which material you used to make the armour and bow?

Not a problem! I used a lot of worbla for this costume. For the weapon I used 4 sheets of EVA foam mats hot glued together, cut out the pattern and used a dremel tool to shape it. Then I covered it up with worbla, primed and sanded. Same with the armor, except using craft foam. The arrow is a wood dowel with a worbla arrowhead, and craft foam for fletching.
