Description
One of the great visuals of comics. McFarlane was, and is, one great artist. I took more of a shine to him in the day, but I still revisit his stuff. Edgy and cartoony. Clever stuff.
I wanted that same kinda feel, even if I aint got the chops to duplicate. Plus, it’s been a little bit since I posted something g that wasn’t the alphabet or a cover. So here you go!
As always…stay tooned for more!
For some reason I’ve never seen the appeal of McFarlane. I was just the right age when he started drawing Spider-Man; around 9 or 10 years old — but I avoided his work on AMAZING like the plague because everyone looked all weird and “lumpy” — I read SPECTACULAR and WEB instead, because Sal Buscema (RIP) and Alex Saviuk were still drawing Spidey in the John Romita Sr. style.
Nonetheless, I do like Spawn’s design, and you did a great job on it!!
