Hulk 181 And now the WOLVERINE!

Been a while since I’ve done a cover redo….so here’s one! I love doing these cover “re-tRedd’s” and I like this one a lot.

Herb Trimpe and Jack Abel did the original and came up with a great cover. I took it where I wanted to but stayed true to the original composition. I usually go for a muted, simplified background when I do these…some because of my limitations as an artist, but some because I like the figures to “pop”.  Biggest thing I wanted to change was getting a little size difference between the two.

I changed the Wendigo quite a bit, and wanted him to be more subtle in the background to focus on the main battle .
