My Bio
I'm a professionally trained artist, freelance illustrator and also work as an illustrator for HarperCollins. I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art and was awarded an MA place at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art in London, which I had to give up due to life restraints at the time but which I will take up one day! I also did a National Diploma in Art & Design in addition to my a BA (Hons) in Fine Art.
I have extraordinarily refined visual acuity skills and am a highly skilled drawer, with excellent draftsmanship abilities.
I'm an illustrator, painter, traditional artist and writer hailing from the west country.
I have a passion for nature, landscapes and SFF.
So far I have illustrated 11 books for various authors and publishing houses and have recently been taken on as a HarperCollins illustrator, with two hand drawn fantasy maps due to be published by them in June 2017 for grimdark debuts, 'The Court of Broken Knives' by Anna Smith-Spark & 'Godblind' by Anna Stephens.

Well, after a LONG break, I am back...er...ish!
Deviantart continues to astound and inspire me in equal measure...there are quite a few SERIOUSLY talented folks on here!
Anyway, unfortunately, I just haven't had much time for adding new artwork, something I hope to resolve come the summer.
But on the news front, things have been fecking AMAZING!!!!!

Just added some non-book related artwork, a mixture of sketches, drawings, paintings and an etching some of it very recent, others a bit older. Most of my paintings are just too big to put on here, unless I use a wide angle lens to take a photo then upload it!
MUST try to finish my illustrations though, but busy writing sequel to White Mountain - Volume One Of The Darkling Chronicles at the mo. A bit nervous about adding watercolour to them but I think they need it...a little colour is always a good thing, eh? Enjoy!

Even though I have always had a passion for art, particularly drawing, painting and sculpture and finished a BA (hons) degree in Fine Art a few years ago - I have very eclectic tastes and adore traditional as well as modern, conceptual and digital art.
I LOVE fantasy and sci-fi and anything imaginative! Dragons and landscapes are a favourite of mine!
At the moment, the majority of all my drawings and artwork are illustrations for my novel, a contemporary fantasy epic, White Mountain - Volume One Of The Darkling Chronicles, which I have been working on for over ten years and have finally finished!!! Yeah!!!
