Thank you for the infinite love heart.

So gorgeous and ethereal! This also reminds me a little of Heironymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights ~ all the beautiful colours and details.

Thank you. I'd like to do atmospheric paintings like this more often in the future. Bosch is one of my favorite artists. I like his weird shapes and crowded yet orderly compositions.

Reminds me a little of Max Ernst. Such a fascinating scene. :-)

Thank you very much. Max Ernst is one of my favorite artists. My work is similar to his in certain ways.

I like outlanding athmosphere in your paintings.

Thank you. This painting was particularly atmospheric with the overall green haze and foliage. I'd like to do more paintings like this in the future.

For those jellyfish like creatures. Sea vines must be their hangout like coral is to allot of saltwater fish.
Tolkyes's avatar
Yes. They dwell among vines and ruins while they wait for a trans-dimensional portal to open up.

Now that's a stunning way to go through a portal cycle.

Thank you. I like to include a good amount of details to provide interest and a degree of realism.

Have you ever thought about becoming a screenwriter or, even better, a filmmaker?
Your passion for science fiction and fantasy and your love for nature could create magnificent stories.
Tolkyes's avatar
Thank you. I did write a science fiction short story called "The Observatory Gardens". It was published by Phase5 a while back. Some of my paintings are part of that world.
I do think in terms of film, too.
I was never serious about pursuing writing or filmmaking, though.
I enjoy painting and listening to music the most.

Thank you, Tara! I was going for kind of a dreamy effect.

I like this. Reminds me of a dream I once had many years ago.

Thank you. It is rather dreamlike.

You're very welcome. It does indeed seem dreamlike.
