My Bio

I grew up with a taste for sci-fi and fantasy but the beauty of nature (especially Winter and the other seasons) has always moved me.
Music inspires me to paint, especially "mindscape' music, such as prog rock, psychedelic music, classical, new age and medieval music.
Places from my childhood memories or places that I see in and around my neighborhood influence some of the landscapes in my paintings, as well.

"Casa Blanca", "It's a Gift", "Sons of the Desert", "Fantastic Planet".
Favourite TV Shows
The original "Star Trek", several of the 'Adult Swim' cartoons, "Monty Python's Flying Circus".
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
Old Yes, ELP, King Crimson, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Mike Oldfield, Beatles. Also, spacey New Age, pychedelic (old and new), medieval music, some classical and current prog rock/psychedelic or medieval groups like Faun and Porcupine Tree.
Favourite Books
"The Hobbit" & "LOTR Trilogy", "The Foundation Trilogy", "The Wind in the Willows", "A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy".
Favourite Writers
J.R.R.Tolkien, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, the 19th century Transcendentalist poets.

American football.

I don't play video games (not really my generation).

Oil paint on canvas with small brushes. Occasionally, pens and pencils.
