- Tokotas
Currently CLOSED
Continuous events will be getting a face lift for 2018. The month of January will be a buffer period as the last month to submit entries for the current system!
Continuous events are shows and competitions that will be rolled without a deadline, every time there are at least 5 entries in the folder, or if one month has passed since the oldest entry was submitted, whichever comes first and however frequently the admins' schedule allows.
Rules
- Each "round" has a maximum of fifteen participants.
- These are mostly RNG based, however, there are many variables that can increase your score.
- To participate, you must create a new tracker journal or add a section to your current trackers, where admins can respond with official event results.
- You may only create 10 continuous event entries per month for all classes, total.
- You may only win first place once per class, per tokota, per month.
- Collaborations are permitted, but will not change the maximum number of tokotas allowed per entry.
- You cannot submit the same tokota twice in one class, until it has been judged.
Entry requirements for all classes
- Tokotas must be full body in art, and mentioned throughout the piece in literature.
- Handlers, where required, must be at least 50% depicted in art and be substantially mentioned in literature.
- Moderately complex backgrounds are required in art as well as coloring. Shading is optional.
- Literature entries must follow the same basic requirements as for drawing, and have a minimum of 1500 words, with a clear beginning and end.
- Where equipment is listed it must be shown at least 50% (eg sleds, tack).
Judging
The highest scoring entry will win, and any ties will be broken with an RNG cointoss. The below numbers exclude events that are rolled like activities.
- 1-60 RNG score
- +1-20 effort bonus
- +10 for dominant tokotas
- +10 for alpha tokotas
- +10 for correct setting
- +Trait, companion, tribe, faction, and item bonuses
- -15 for inbreeding penalties
