It's happening. It's finally happening—I’m making my own original comic! The entire script for Issue One is fully planned out, and I’m currently working on the pages. Unlike my fan comic projects, I won’t be sticking to a strict “one page per week” schedule (although I haven't been sticking to that too much with the fan comics lately, either). Instead, I’m letting each page take the time it needs to come together perfectly.

For this comic, I’ve opted for a more conventional art style compared to my usual approach. Since this story leans heavily into comedy, I felt this shift would suit the tone better than the more fantasy-inspired style I use for my Meadow comics.

Here’s a sneak peek at the premise:

"Timothy 'Timmy' Tomcat is a mischievous and optimistic (if not especially bright) city cat living in Animara alongside his best friend, Biscuit Beagle. After a fish-snatching scheme goes wrong, a dejected Timmy stumbles upon an unconventional and odoriferous idea...

Determined to turn his luck around, Timmy decides to reinvent himself as a creature no one dares to cross—a skunk! Biscuit, however, has her doubts (and possibly a newfound interest in nose plugs). Will Timmy’s plan stink up the city in more ways than one, or will it lead him to an even wilder adventure? There’s only one way to find out—dive in!"

As for the Tiny Toon comic I was working on, the decision to use Timmy in my original comic likely means I won’t be continuing it. While it had already been on a sort of indefinite hiatus, this officially marks its cancellation.

That said, I’m not a fan of leaving stories on a cliffhanger. To provide some closure, I plan to write up a summary of what I had envisioned for the rest of the story. It’s not the same as finishing the comic, but it will give fans a chance to see where things were headed and how it all would’ve wrapped up.
