I know this is actually a photo of my grandmothers hair (from behind) but of everything I've don with it I've figured it works perfectly for textures as well as "filter" or "overlay" for when you want to create a more "flowing" picture.
A very simple example of what can be done with it can be shown on the link below.

You are allowed to use this for yourself but I want you to credit me and please post a comment with a link to where you used it. ( so I can view and like ;D )

Love it... can it be used on stuff posted outside of DA? She has beautiful hair, by the way.

If you credit me with a link to my DA account(and/or name) clearly visible and send a link It's alright for you to use this outside of DA. What are you thinking of using it for?

Thanks for taking the time to Reply, TokihaMai. I use textures in my equine art ([link]). Don't like to use any textures in any way restricted by the creator. I had a few ideas for this one--one of which is I think it would make a cool sky or cool background for a dog portrait. ♥

You're welcome. I know that I myself like to be answered when I comment so I try to answer back as well. as for restriction the only ones I really have is against commercial use (if user claim all spoils/credits for him/herself) and those who try to post the image/texture with barely/no edits and claim it as their own.

As for your work it's beautifully done and You're perfectly free to use any of my current/future stock without having to ask again for outside use. <3

'tis crazy that it's your grandmother's hair, but it looks lovely (:
I used it as an overlay (it brought out some colors! :meow: ) here:

I know though I have a young grandmother. she turned 65 this year. (and this pic is two years old.) And I liked the very subtle but still showing use you did to your pic.
