One of my favorite Doctors, right here. This piece has a little more... Paul Pope, I guess, than I've come to expect from you. But it's still got your cleanliness and pop-art pizzaz. It's exciting, is what it is. Thoughts?
Yeah, I think he and I have come to similar conclusions about inking from different angles. I've been introducing a lot of chance into these Doctor drawings by not penciling the shadows on the outfits and just seeing where it goes. I have to say it feels a little weird to be doing some kind of texture other than simple folds, but I'm not going to let JD beat me when it comes to Pentel brush pens (that punk!).
I know, right? I'm always looking over my shoulder in fear of that amazing damn guy. Anyhow, I read you on the inking angles. I've started to play with that a little, with mixed success...
