2018 ended yesterday for me. It was a rough year for me, but I am as ever grateful for the given opportunity to work on some cool projects with awesome folks. One of the highlights for me was working with John Clowdus and teaming up with Kolossal Games to produce the illustrations for Mezo,
and then to see Imp House's Mad Love
got funded on Kickstarter as well. The graphic novel Isnana - The Were-Spider Vol. 02
by creator/writer Greg Anderson Elysee
is finally released on Comixology
There's more comic projects on the way that I cannot mention yet, but I'm thankful to be working with them and I can't wait to show them to you all. Shout out to Jimmy Schleisman, Ryan King, Luc Labelle and Steve Foxe and Ari Yarwood. Thank you all!
Personal art highlights? I wanna give a thanks and shoutout to Mattydraws
for his awesome Adventure April art prompt
that helped me getting through my art block and coming up with the Owl Mage
and inspired me to come up with a pirate art prompt
set in the same universe.
So what's for 2019? To be honest, I don't know. I hope to work on more board game related stuff because I really enjoyed it. But also I hope I get back to working on my own personal comic projects. Last year almost made me throwing the towel on comics and doubtful about my own work a lot. There's a lot of personal growth and self care I need to keep on doing, and I'm thankful to my partner, family and friends that helped me along the way. It's a new chapter, and new adventures waiting for us all.
Happy New Year to all of you, and thank you for sticking around with me on this on-going artistic journey. Let's begin.
